Sexual Harassment

Despite great advancements toward equality, women continue to face discrimination in the workplace. Even today, women are paid less for the same jobs held by men. As insidious as discrimination can be in affecting women and their families, sexual harassment continues to be a daily experience in today’s work place. At least 40% of all women report being sexually harassed at some point in their careers.

Harassment can include “sexual harassment” or unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical harassment of a sexual nature. Our attorneys are sympathetic to your needs. We will help you confront your employer and make them pay for making you a victim of sexual harassment.

We are dedicated to aggressively litigating claims of sexual harassment. Harassment does not have to be of a sexual nature, it can include offensive remarks about a person’s sex or provocative language with sexual overtones. The harasser can be your supervisor, a supervisor in another area, a co-worker, or someone who is not an employee of the employer, such as a client or customer.

We will discreetly and with dignity litigate your sexual harassment case. We know that this is a sensitive matter so we will provide a female attorney to handle the initial discussion of the facts of your case.

At your initial consultation, we will help you devise a plan to document discrimination or sexual harassment prior to you leaving your employment. If you have already been terminated or resigned because of the employer’s conduct, we will help you take the required steps to initiate a lawsuit to protect your rights. Throughout your case, we will keep you informed so you are prepared throughout the process.
